How it works
Ipamorelin is a synthetic pentapeptide that acts as a selective agonist of the ghrelin/growth-hormone secretagogue receptor. It is studied for stimulating pulsatile growth-hormone release from the pituitary with relatively little effect on cortisol or prolactin, which distinguishes it from earlier secretagogues. Human clinical evidence is limited.
